Monica Behling graduated from the Phoenix Institute of Herbal Medicine and Acupuncture in 2003 where she studied Acupuncture, Chinese herbs, Chinese dietary therapy and Tui-na. Her undergraduate degree is a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Western Oregon State University. Monica is Nationally Board Certified in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine, and she is licensed in the state of Arizona to practice Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine.
Because of Monica's belief that health is not merely the absence of a physical disease, her approach to health and wellness encompasses all aspects of a person's being, including the mental and emotional aspects as well as the physical manifestation. Monica's treatment goal is to help facilitate balance and harmony within all of these compartments. She utilizes a combination of acupuncture, herbal medicinals and dietary therapy to help in this process.
